PharmUp Logistics (“PharmUp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the personal information of our users. This policy outlines how we collect, use, encrypt, store, and dispose of sensitive data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. What We Collect

PharmUp collects the following:

🧑‍⚕️ Pharmacy Manager & Pharmacy Name
📝 Delivery Notes
📦 Number of Bags
⏱️ Pickup Time
📬 Email (if provided)

2. Why We Collect It

To:

Fulfill and track deliveries
Communicate updates to pharmacies and patients
Provide pharmacies access to proof of delivery
Support future business optimization

3. Consent

Consent is obtained when a delivery form is submitted. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting support@pharmup.ca.

4. Data Encryption

Sensitive fields are AES encrypted using a secure key stored in the server config
Only admins and authorized pharmacy accounts can decrypt this data
No sensitive data is stored in plaintext in dashboards or exports

5. Retention & Deletion

Retention Period	Access Level	Action
0–30 days	Full	Fully accessible
31–90 days	Limited	Data is anonymized
90+ days	Minimal	Deleted or reduced to ID and status only

Data is purged automatically using secure processes.

6. Dashboard & Access Controls

Users can only view their own orders
Admins can see all orders for operational purposes
Access to the dashboard is restricted by role

7. Third Parties

We may share information only with:

Partner pharmacies (for delivery validation)
Delivery staff (to complete delivery)
Secure hosting providers (GoDaddy servers)

We do not sell or rent personal information.

8. Cookies & Analytics

Cookies may be used for site optimization and experience enhancement.

9. Future Cloud Expansion (Google)

We are preparing for optional encrypted cloud backups via Google Cloud Storage, with your data stored under strict IAM permissions.
